Welcome to Wildlight. By purchasing a Wildlight Magazine subscription you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. About Wildlight: Wildlight is a monthly children’s magazine designed to inspire creativity, confidence, curiosity and connection with nature through stories, activities, collectables and educational content.  Subscriptions include:  A printed Wildlight magazine delivered each month / Digital interactive magazine access / Monthly downloadable activities and resources 

2. Subscription: Subscriptions are available on a Monthly recurring payment.  Your subscription begins once payment has been successfully processed.  Your first delivery will depend on the publication schedule shown at the time of purchase.

3. Automatic Renewal: Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled.  You authorise Wildlight to collect future subscription payments using your chosen payment method.

4. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your online account. Cancellation will prevent future renewal payments.  Any magazines already paid for will still be delivered.  Refunds are not normally available for part-used subscription periods.  If your subscription was purchased as a gift, it cannot usually be cancelled once dispatched.

5. Cooling-Off Period: If you purchased online, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided no physical magazine has been dispatched and no digital content has been accessed.  Where digital content has been accessed during this period, you acknowledge that your statutory cancellation rights for that digital content may end once access begins. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

6. Prices - Subscription prices are shown at checkout.  Prices include VAT where applicable.  Wildlight reserves the right to change future subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified before any renewal at a new price and may cancel before the renewal if they do not wish to continue.

7. Delivery: Wildlight currently delivers within the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated.  Delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.  Wildlight is not responsible for delays caused by:  Postal services, Severe weather, Industrial action, Customs, Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

8. Lost or Damaged Deliveries: If your magazine arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us within 21 days of the expected delivery date.  Where appropriate, Wildlight may replace the item or provide another suitable remedy.

9. Changes of Address: Subscribers are responsible for keeping delivery details up to date. Address changes should be submitted at least 10 working days before the next publication date.  Wildlight cannot guarantee changes received after this time will apply to the next issue.

10. Digital Content: Digital magazines, downloads, videos, playlists and subscriber resources remain the intellectual property of Wildlight. They are licensed for personal household use only. They must not be:

• copied

• shared publicly

• uploaded elsewhere

• resold

• redistributed

 

11. Collectables, Gifts and Promotions: Some issues may include crystals, stickers, cards, toys or promotional gifts.

Contents may occasionally vary due to supplier availability. Wildlight reserves the right to substitute items with alternatives of similar value where necessary.

 

12. Crystal Safety: Some issues may include genuine crystals. These are supplied for educational and collecting purposes only. They are not toys for children under 36 months due to potential choking hazards. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children. Wildlight makes no medical, therapeutic or healing claims regarding crystals.

Any information provided is educational and should not replace professional medical advice.

 

13. Educational Content: Wildlight encourages creativity, mindfulness, curiosity and wellbeing. Activities are intended for educational and entertainment purposes only. Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising activities appropriate to their child’s age.

 

14. Intellectual Property: All Wildlight content including:

• characters

• artwork

• logos

• stories

• names

• activities

• games

• downloads

• magazine design

• educational systems

remain the copyright and intellectual property of Wildlight unless otherwise stated. No part may be reproduced without written permission.

 

15. User Content: Where subscribers submit artwork, photographs, competition entries or creative work, they grant Wildlight a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content in the magazine, on the website or in promotional materials, unless otherwise agreed. Parents or legal guardians must provide consent for submissions from children where required.

 

16. Privacy: Wildlight values your privacy. We only collect personal information necessary to:

• process subscriptions

• deliver magazines

• manage accounts

• communicate about your subscription

• improve our services

• comply with legal obligations

We never sell your personal information.  Information may be shared only with trusted service providers who help us process payments, deliver subscriptions or operate our services, and only where necessary.  We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 17. Children’s Privacy: Wildlight is designed for children but subscription purchases must be made by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without appropriate parental involvement where required by law.

 

18. Website Use: Users agree not to:

• misuse the website

• attempt unauthorised access

• introduce malicious software

• interfere with website security

Wildlight may suspend access where misuse is suspected.

 

19. Limitation of Liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where this would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the above, Wildlight shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the subscription, website, or digital content.

 

20. Changes to These Terms: Wildlight may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Material changes affecting existing subscriptions will be communicated before they take effect.

 

21. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
